SHIPS: TO SAIL OR TO SINK

This is, perhaps, the most difficult part of being a Fujoshi since you're more interested in shipping two men which is taboo for some people.

What do we mean by 'ship' anyway?

Ship - I don't know if it really begins with it, but according to my understanding, it might be gotten from the idiom "in the same boat" that means "being in the same unfortunate circumstances as the others." It might originally have a negative connotation, but as time passes by, it can also be now used in a positive way as language is dynamic. Shipping is figuratively the manner of putting in two people, who have great chemistry, in the same boat and let them sail together to the place where, we believe, they are supposed to be at...

or in other words, Ship is partnering two persons together in a romantic way.

The Song-Song Couple is a dream-fulfillment for all shippers as their boat has successfully landed to the destination we hardly prayed for them to be at.

However, there are times, or should I say, a lot of times, the ship sinks or the couple breaks up..

The hardest part of being a shipper as it can't be helped to invest too emotions, wishing for them to be real. Yet, it doesn't. And you can't complain because, remember, they are actors who have their own private lives, hence you can only support them for whatever decisions they have.

For a 'normal' shipping, it's rare to have their ship sinking. Mostly, it's sailing.

But for BL shipping, it would be a miracle if the two actors truly fall for each other. Meaning, we can only have sinking ships in the vast pacific ocean after all those 'kilig' moments for they can't really be together in reality...

What can we do? It's all just work and business. Fanservice. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just be happy that even for a short time, they give excitement to your boring life.

Focus with your own and let them have some privacy...

Yet still, you can't help wishing for your little fujoshi's dream to come true.

The following are my ships I wish to continuously sail in the future. If they can't be in a romantic relationship, then as good friends or brotherly-like relationship is enough for me, as long as they won't break apart and become like strangers:

Love Sick: Phun & Noh/ Whitewo & Captain (The legend, for me, as it's the first BL series I watched and finished)

Sotus: Kongpob & Arthit/ Singto & Krist

Make it right: Frame & Book/ Ohm & Toey

2Moons: Forth & Beam/ Tae & Tee (Chose that pic because P'Tae just recently sank their ship XD.)

2Moons: Ming & Kit/ Kim & Cop

Puppy Honey: Pick & Rome/ Off & Gun (I think this couple is getting there...)

(The last two couples are what I believe is 'Real.' It's just that, they are rising stars, hence they can't reveal it yet. Plus, their country's culture and tradition...)

Uncontrolled Love: Xie Yan & Shu Nian/ Mengrui & Wang Bowen

Swap: Yu Wen & Guang Guang/ Yang Yeming (Leo) & Yao Wang (Lucas)

(The most beautiful differences: height, skin color, habit, character...They just perfectly compliment each other. Yin and Yang)

Three years ago...

Three years ago, I was just an ordinary girl who loved to read Manga, and watch Koreanovela. Totally unaware of the existence of the so called "Boys Love," although my first best friend is a gay, and I can easily get closed with them.

Not until I came across a certain fan video in Youtube while I was looking for an anime to watch. It was summer time, vacation (And what else is the best way to spend summer than lying on a bed and watching or reading?).

The video was entitled "Yaoi Kuroshitsuji."

Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) was one of my favorite manga. I was so in love with Ciel Panthomhive and Sebastian. Honestly, I secretly shipped them. But because I thought it was so wrong, I would just pretend that Ciel was a girl >.<

Then, I got curious about the word 'Yaoi.' What did it mean? Why did the people in comment box said, Kuroshitsuji was supposed to be a Yaoi, however the editor advised the author not to do it?

So, with the help of Google, I searched for it's meaning...

And viola! The birth of a Rotten Girl (Fujoshi).

It had begun with a Manga, followed by a novel, and addicted with TV series...

For me, there's nothing wrong with shipping two men together. There's nothing wrong with loving a person who has the same gender. Love holds no definition. It's boundless.

Nonetheless, though the world is becoming more open about this topic, It still can't be helped receiving prejudices from others. Even the people who just appreciate this wonderful love, cannot escape the burning gaze of them.

Hence, I created this blog to understand our story. I guess, the only reason why there's dispute is because this community isn't given a flatform to express ourselves.

What really is a life of a Fujoshi/Fudanshi?

and How hard it is to hide yourself behind just not to be condemned by others?
